Yes, Arbor Psychiatry is currently accepting new patients. Please reach out using the "Request an Appointment" page to schedule an introductory call to see if the clinic is a good fit for you or your child. Please note that an introductory call does not constitute establishment of a doctor-patient relationship.
Arbor Psychiatry is considered out-of-network with all health insurance plans and does not bill insurance, but can provide you with a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network or out-of-pocket reimbursement. Reimbursements are plan-specific, so please reach out to your insurance carrier.

The initial evaluation is structured in 2 parts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of your or your child's needs. Part 1 consists of a 60 minute virtual appointment, during which Dr. Burruss will gather an in-depth history and understanding of your concerns. Part 2 (typically the following week) consists of a 30 minute, in-person appointment. This visit allows for direct engagement with you and/or your child and concludes with a detailed discussion of diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations, and educational guidance.
Both! Arbor Psychiatry offers in-person appointments in Bethesda, MD and virtual appointments to anyone in Maryland. All new patients are required to be seen in-person as part of their initial appointment and all current patients are required to be seen in-person at least once per year unless otherwise discussed.
Arbor Psychiatry is located in Bethesda, Maryland at 4905 Del Ray Avenue, Suite 210, Bethesda, MD 20814 in the Cohn Counseling Suite. The office is at the corner of Del Ray Ave and Norfolk Ave. There is a parking garage located next to the office as well as metered street parking.
